Corey is sick of saying she wants to be a writer, so she has decided to just be one already! With a BA in English Literature from the University of Washington and a travel blog full of words that form sentences, it might be considered legitimate.
When she isn’t writing, she’s tap dancing – teaching, choreographing, and thoroughly enjoying all the clickity-clack she’s been practicing since she was a kid. To stay afloat, she lends her writing skills, and a few others she’s picked up along the way, to her career in marketing. Both teaching and marketing require creativity, strategy, and the ability to tell a story.
Storytelling, an art she’s long practiced, one passed down through generations of storytellers, is her truest passion. Her Grandfather told her to never let the facts get in the way of a good story – that a story well told is a well told story. Whether it’s through words or dancing, she’s always searching for a well told story. Maybe you’ll read a few of them here.
